Online Ordering
Payment Options: Online purchases may be paid using all major credit and debit cards. 

Security and Privacy: We are proud to say we offer a guaranteed safe and secure e-store environment, where you can shop while sipping your tea and leave all worries behind. None of your credit card information is ever stored on our server.

Your personal and credit card information are encoded using state of the art Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology before being sent over the Internet. This is beneficial because the information cannot be read even in the highly unlikely event the transaction gets "hacked".  It is the best and most secure technology available today for making e-commerce transactions.

Order Confirmation: Once your order is processed we will send out an order confirmation via e-mail with your order total. Your total will include tax (if you live in New York State) and shipping.

When filling in your order information please double-check your e-mail address.

Thanks for making sure it is correct. It must be correct for us to send you your order confirmation. We also need your billing phone number to communicate with you about your order ie: any order clarification/changes of any kind.

Mail Orders
If you do not wish to pay using a bankcard online you are welcomed to pay with a money order.

1) Fill up your online shopping cart
2) Proceed to checkout
3) Select your shipping rate as if your were paying by credit card, then press "continue to order form" 
4) Fill in your personal mailing information and print out your "final order totals" page. Mail this print out and a money order for the "Order Grand Total" to:

USA Shipping and Delivery
Ship and Delivery Time: We know you can hardly wait to receive your A Scentimental Journey Products. We make every effort to get them to you as fast as we can. However, because most of our Perfumery products are custom made for you and prepared fresh once we receive your order, we ask that you allow us two weeks for delivery. We will do our best to get it out as soon as possible however; if for any reason there is a delay that will cause your delivery to exceed two weeks, we will contact you by phone and e-mail.

Rush Orders: If you need your product for a special occasion or gift, Please let us know by typing RUSH in the "Order Notes" field of our ordering page. This is not express or overnight shipping, we will however put your order on our priority list.

Backorders and Out of Stock Merchandise: If there is any item in your order that is temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by phone and e-mail. We will give you the option of waiting, or having us ship out that which is available. If you do not wish to wait we will send out your backordered merchandise separately, at no additional shipping charge to you.

If for some reason we are unable to send out your backordered item (say the manufacturer suddenly stops making or selling the item) we will notify you immediately. You will then be given the options of a cash refund (in check form), or product exchange for the total product cost plus shipping.

Substitutions: All baskets which hold gift set items are subject to substitution without notification (the products within the baskets are not). In the case that a basket is replaced because we are out of stock of the original, we promise that the replacement will be equal to the quality and value of the original basket shown.

Shipping Methods: Most all orders are shipped via United States Postal Service. 

International Orders: Please call us at (718) 273-9772 for shipping cost and details.

Local Orders: Local clients and friends may place their orders online and call us to arrange a pickup appointment at our show room. You must however call to receive a pickup confirmation. Shipping will automatically be charged, however you will receive a cash reimbursement for all shipping charges.

Gifts Orders
Placing Gift Orders: If you are ordering an item or items you wish to have sent to a different address, you will need to complete the full ordering process for those items. Every gift order must be placed separately for each destination. Indicate GIFT on order form and fill in the recipient's Ship To Address. Use "Gift Card Message"  field provided on our ordering page for writing your sentiments. We will send off the gift items with your sentiments on a lovely gift card at no extra charge.

Gift Certificates
(Now Available)
A Scentimental Journey offers a beautiful Gift Certificate and coordinating envelope that's printed on coral hued linen paper accented with antique roses. We can send it to whomever you wish (when ordered separately). The certificate, along with a note with your sentiments, will be delivered in a pretty mailing envelope with our perfumery brochure and sample vials of 2 of our top scents for that season.
You may also add Gift Certificates to your order and each will be sent to you along with your other purchases, un-addressed, including a brochure and sample vials.
Our Gift Certificates are available in the follow increments; $25 / $35 / $50 / $65 / $80 / $100 / $150 / $200

Returns
Return Policy: We do all that is possible to ensure that you will love all of your purchases. We even offer you the opportunity to purchase samples of our fragrances before you commit to a purchase. Most fragrance companies do not allow returns because of the inability for the product to be resold. As a courtesy to our clients we offer a return policy for items damaged in shipping and a credit minus a 25% re-handling fee policy for general returns. Returns may take up two weeks to process.
All returns do require a Return Merchandise Authorization Number. Simply call our Client Services Department (718) 273-9772, they will provide you with a number and all required return instructions.

Damaged Merchandise: If any item is damaged upon receipt please leave it in its original packaging and call us immediately. (Returns on damaged items will not be authorized after 5 business days.) We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization Number. Re-pack  your order and mail it to:

(Include the Return Merchandise Authorization number with your return.) Upon receipt we will ship out an exact product replacement.
We do not issue cash refunds or gift certificates as  compensation for damaged merchandise returns. However, as a courtesy  you will be reimbursed for your return shipping charges.

General Returns: If for any other reason you wish to return an item, call us within 14 days for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number. You are responsible for sending the product back to us. When we receive your return with your authorization number written on the package, we will credit your charge card (if you paid by money order, you will be issued a check) for the value of the returned merchandise (not including shipping) minus a 25% re-handling fee.

*Please do not attempt to make a return without an authorization from client services, as it will be refused at our warehouse.

Referral Program
We are excited to offer our clients an opportunity to earn free products for turning their friends and family into A Scentimental Journey customers. All you have to do is get four or more people to order online or through mail order within a month's time. We will total your referral's purchases and send you a Shopping Certificate for 10% of the total (not including tax and shipping). Simply have each referral fill in your name as the person who referred them to our web-site (when they checkout). You will not qualify for your shopping certificate unless you have at least four referral purchases. You must register within the second week of the month in order to participate. You may participate in the program as many months as you wish.

Liability
ASCENTIMENTALJOURNEY.COM products are made from the finest ingredients available. However an allergic reaction can be cause by anything, including a particular herb or natural ingredient. When trying a new product always do a patch test to be certain you can use it without irritation. Please consult with your Medical Doctor or Certified Holistic Practitioner before attempting to treat any illness with our products. None of our products should replace the care of a physician. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult your Doctor before using any aromatherapy products. And of course please keep safely away from children.
